Freelance
travel journalist Linda Jackson has written
for numerous national and international lifestyle titles, websites, golf
magazines, in-flight publications, cruise line magazines and the
national press, and her images have been widely published.
Although a UK freelance travel writer Linda also acts as Travel Editor
for two golf-related websites; writes the Honeymoon section for the
Guide for the South West Bride (2009-to date); has been Travel
Correspondent for Devon Life magazine (2000-2010); Travel Editor for
Kudos magazine (2009); and Honeymoon Travel Correspondent for Devon Life
Bride magazine (2001-2009).
She also contributes editorial and undertakes website copywriting for
high-end hotels, and has recently returned from a 3-month website/hotel
review project in the Caribbean for Sandals Resorts International.
Linda Jackson’s love of worldwide travel stemmed from years of working
and living in several different countries – having worked at NATO
headquarters in Brussels, Belgium and in the banking business in Dubai,
United Arab Emirates; and also spending several years in the Diplomatic
Service environment living in Casablanca - Morocco; Barbados - West
Indies; and Paris - France.
Born and brought up in South Devon, Linda is now based in south-east
England, within easy reach of central London. Linda Jackson is a full
member of the British Guild of Travel Writers (BGTW) and, being a keen
golfer, also member of the Golf Travel Writers Association (GTWA).

DESTINATIONS
Linda covers destinations worldwide, but her main specialist areas
are the Caribbean, Devon, Cornwall and Scotland. In addition to
Caribbean islands she covers many others: mainly the Seychelles,
Canary Islands, Mauritius, Madeira, Isles of Scilly, Maldives and
Malta. Other destinations of particular fascination to her are
Oman in the Middle East, and Arizona, USA.
