Andrew Sanger - travel writer and editor

I have written several hundred travel articles for a wide variety of UK publications including The Observer, The Guardian, Daily and Sunday Telegraph, Daily and Sunday Times, Daily Mail and Mail-on-Sunday, Daily and Sunday Express, London Standard, the Jewish Chronicle, France magazine, many popular women's consumer magazines including Bella, Woman's Own, She, and numerous customer magazines. Some of my travel articles have won awards.

I have also written brochures, advertising copy and commercial text, including the entire brochure of the Irish Tourist Board in London and of tour operators specialising in France.

Though now working mainly on guidebooks, I still write several travel articles a year (under the name Jane Pitt as well as Andrew Sanger). Newspaper, magazine and online work in the last ten years includes ...

These 12 articles were commissioned to mark the 10th anniversary year of Eurotunnel. They were on the Eurotunnel passenger website through the 2004 summer season and formed the basis of Eurotunnel's major advertising UK campaign in 2004. Text from the pieces was used in the company's leaflets, promotional literature and posters displayed on the Eurotunnel trains until the end of 2004. Some of the text is still used on Eurotunnel posters.
